We have been booked every weekend but the weather has made it hard to get out into the ocean. It has been one pressure after another making the ocean very churned up with high seas. We had 20 foot seas breaking on the beach and 20-30 foot seas off the coast for several days. We have had to reschedule charters aiming for days that will make it possible to get out and across the bar.
We did get out yesterday, but the warmer water had moved out. Capt. Dave went miles and miles to get to the water but with little rewards. It is always disappointing when the fleet finally gets out with little return. Hopefully, the weather and the seas will calm down enough so that the Tuna come up and are biting on the baits.
Prior to this, Capt. Dave has been hunting and sitting in the woods.
