The weather has not been good to us at the moment as far as going off-shore fishing. The tropical storms and hurricaines that have been in the Gulf along with the fronts that have come down from the North have come together on the East Coast, which means winds and high seas. The seas have been anywhere from 6 - 18 feet in our fishing grounds. This has had the fleet socked in for about ten days.
I (Holly) am in Portland, OR to look after my neice who is 3 years old, so I am doing this long-distance; well I went from one coast to the other.
Capt. Dave had a great day with Kevin and his crew. There were a lot of hunting stories that were swapped back and forth, and although, choppy on the ocean, they had a good day catching Yellow-fin Tuna and Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi). I understand that there is something waiting for me when I get home ---- Thank you Kevin. Have a great time on your hunting trip.
