Fishing has been GREAT for those who can get out when the weather will permit ----- Limits of Yellow-fin Tuna and numerous Black-fin tuna.  Capt Dave has been working on a couple boats getting them ready for the up coming season.  There is alot more that goes into building a boat than anyone thinks ---- I certainly had no idea how much, but now I am getting really good at sanding and fiber glassing.

Capt. Dave has had a great season hunting with a lot of opportunities for a few big Bucks ---- he should have zigged when he zagged...... that's the way it goes.  It is still fun to be in a tree and have a great time with friends. We have included a picture of several Captain's and friends on a two day hunt around the Lake Gaston, NC area.

We had a wonderful Christmas with the family.........a great supper and then all opened presents.  It has been a year since we have had the family together.  We were still missing one but that is what happens when the "kids" grow up and have their own families. 

Our newest four-legged family member had a exciting time under the tree and helping to unwrap presents, then preceded to make sure all the wrapping paper and ribbon was inspected.  We got another cat named, Sienna on Thanksgiving.  For those of you that have seen our male cat (Tigger) on the boat or in the truck at the dock, Sienna is Tigger's daughter.  Charlie, our chocolate lab is so happy to have another playmate but Sienna is not to sure about Charlie.

Capt. Dave is getting ready to take a boat to Mexico at the first of the year ---- he will spend a couple of days down there and then fly back....maybe he will get some Sailfish fishing in, but then it is back for some more boat work and the Striper Season.  From all reports we are getting the season is going to be a good one, we are tracking there migration South.
