The group that we had today normally goes fishing in the Gulf of Mexico but since the fishing is closed, they decided to try off-shore fishing from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. No place is exactly the same, so they are getting a new experience. They are with us for two days, the first day was great and we hope that the second day will be just a good if not better.
They had fun bringing in the 200-250lb Blue Marlin that took the bait early in the morning - he/she gave us a really good show. It was also a great day for Bailer Dolphin - it's the right time of year for both.
They also got to see something that does not happen everyday - a bird hitched a ride since he was so tired and had no land to take a rest, so he rested on the boat until he had enough energy to keep going.
